Awards Recognize Innovators Delivering Products That Help Maximize the Business Value of Software
CUPERTINO, Calif. - Nov 14, 2005 : Borland Software Corporation (NASDAQ NM: BORL, www.borland.com), the global leader for Software Delivery Optimization today announced its Technology Partner of the Year award winners. At last week’s Borland Developer Conference in San Francisco, Calif., AutomatedQA Corp., Raize Software, iAnywhere and BuildForge, Inc. were recognized for their commitment to creating innovative, integrated software solutions that help organizations accelerate the path to Software Delivery Optimization (SDO).
“We had many outstanding nominees from the Borland Technology Partner (BTP) program, but chose to honor these five organizations. The companies and solutions honored include:
- AutomatedQA Corp. for its TestComplete, AQtime, Automated Build Studio and AQdevTeam products. AutomatedQA offers software products and services for development and quality assurance projects worldwide. Its products for the entire software development lifecycle, include TestComplete for test automation and AQtime, a sophisticated performance and memory profiler. AutomatedQA supports the Microsoft® Windows® and .NET platforms and offers support and integration for Microsoft Visual Studio® and Borland Delphi®. AutomateQA has seamlessly integrated its AQtime profiler into Delphi 2005 and will be integrated into Delphi 2006.
- BuildForge, Inc. for its BuildForge Adaptor for Borland StarTeam®. BuildForge’s integration creates seamless links between StarTeam’s software configuration management system and BuildForge’s build and release process management software to automate development tasks, accurately capture release contents, and correlate source code changes with build activity for rapid problem resolution. The Adaptor connects a development team’s source control, production build, automated test, and deployment environments to enable continuous integration, improve product quality, and accelerate development cycles. Used with BuildForge FullControl, development teams are able to standardize, manage, and automate their development processes across multiple projects, distributed teams, and operating platforms from a single management console to generate dramatic cost savings and increases in team productivity. Together, Borland and BuildForge’s products also deliver end-to-end auditability of development activity to document compliance with regulatory, legislative, and internal mandates.
- iAnywhere for its Advantage Database Server product. A full-featured, high performance client/server data management system for stand-alone, networked and Internet database applications, Advantage is specifically designed to meet the needs of business application developers and allows developers to easily deploy robust applications with complete control of data integrity, multi-user concurrency and data security. For those wanting an affordable database solution without sacrificing functionality, Advantage provides the database functionality developers require without the high ownership costs of other database products. Advantage Database Server makes use of optimized data access for all development environments including Delphi, Visual Studio, .NET, Visual Basic®, and more. The Advantage Database Server was recently acquired by Sybase through its purchase of Extended Systems in October 2005. The business is now part of Sybase’s iAnywhere subsidiary.
- Raize Software for its CodeSite, Raize Components and DropMaster products. Developers use Raize Components and DropMaster to build sophisticated user-interfaces in less time with less effort, and CodeSite to ensure that their own code is working correctly. Raize Components is a user interface design system for Delphi and C++Builder®. At its core are more than 125 general-purpose native VCL controls and more than 100 component designers focused on simplifying user interface development. DropMaster is a set of VCL controls for dragging and dropping text, graphics and custom data to and from other applications.
